The 1961 edition of The Journal is the first copy in our collection to feature images throughout the publication, produced when the club was known as The University of Leeds Climbing Club. Among its contents are photographs and articles covering trips to Ben Nevis in Scotland, Lenzspitze in Switzerland, and a survey expedition to Patagonia.
