The Journal of Leeds University Climbing Club
1958, Volume 2 No.3
Edited by Unknown
This edition of The Journal is the direct successor to 1956's volume - giving an indicator to club's ability/inability to produce a 'periodical' in a timely manner. This edition is packed with articles from club trips to Wales & new routes, to an excellent article on climbing safety in the 50's, which remains relevant to this day. As the editor notes, this is also the first Journal where "there is no article on potholing", as the Leeds University caving society was formed this same year, which was then know as the Speleological Society - known today as the Leeds University Union Caving Society or LUUCaS.
A physical copy is available in the Leeds University Edward Boyle Library.
